National Accounts Marketing Representative

Come join the team! We are seeking an energetic person to join our Sales Team as a National Accounts Marketing Representative.

The Bottom Line:
The National Accounts Representative will work hand in hand with the National Accounts Sales team to identify needs and develop annual marketing plans for assigned accounts, to include account-specific consumer marketing and promotional programs designed to strengthen Buzztime awareness and usage at the restaurant level. They will work to develop and execute customer specific lead generation efforts. This position will work to develop sales presentations and participate in sales calls as needed. The National Accounts Analyst will participate in planning meetings with customers to build relationships and gain support for Buzztime initiatives and programs. They will support the sales department by developing briefs to internal departments (e.g. creative, advertising, product development, etc.) to direct work activities in order to generate concepts for effective execution of marketing programs and objectives.

  • Additionally this position will be responsible to:
  • Build and execute marketing programs to drive successful implementation of pilot tests.
  • Track Buzztime installation process.
  • Develop and execute a communication plan using various tools (e.g., newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, face-to-face meetings, video conferencing, etc.) to communicate Buzztime product updates to National Account Customers
  • Implement ‘train the trainer’ programs to customers and travel to training meetings.
  • Continually stay up to date on industry trends
  • Work with customers via phone and in-person to resolve any problems or requests.
  • Analyze customer specific data to understand current economics, state of the business.
  • Travel in the US and Canada up to 50% (driving and flying)

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate who has a Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field plus 5-8 years of business to business marketing and/or sales experience. Hospitality industry experience is a strong plus. Candidates must be able learn basic aspects of the Buzztime System and various company databases (i.e. Salesforce). Marketing experience is a requirement, candidates should be able to offer creative ideas and adapt to various situations, demands and organizational needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), and excellent organizational skills. They should be outgoing and personable, able to manage themselves in sales calls, trade shows and conferences. Should be able to travel up to 50% and be self motivated to work effectively without direct supervision. We are looking for people who have excellent communication skills who can work well in a team environment.
