Come join the team!  We are seeking an energetic person to join our Call Center as a Technical Support Representative.  This position will serve as the company’s primary point of contact for customers, service providers, and NTN field staff.  This position assists customers, field marketing and independent representatives, and service subcontractors to obtain needed materials and/or information.  Provide support for all deployed platforms as it relates to the following areas:

  • Providing customer service and assistance to Buzztime representatives and customers
  • Handling escalated calls for high level technical support.
  • Troubleshooting and analyzing system failures.
  • Informing locations of identified problems with the NTN systems
  • Ordering replacement equipment.
  • Following up on unresolved issues.
  • Logging data received to customer database.
  • Completing various job tasks assigned by supervisors.
  • Maintaining a positive relationship with customers and building a good public image.

THE BOTTOM LINE

We are looking for candidates who have a High School diploma or equivalent.  Experience in a high volume call center environment, both in-bound and out-bound, is a requirement.  Ideal candidates will have excellent verbal communication skills, advanced problem solving and analytical skills as well.

The following technical skills are required:

  • Networking:  Configuration of MS 98 and XP systems. Basic TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
  • Hardware: Dell, Gateway, IBM, routers, switches, and hubs
  • Knowledge of audio/video equipment, installation, troubleshooting, and service requirements
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.
  • SOFTWARE: Proficient end user skills of MS Word, Excel and MS Outlook
  • SYSTEMS: MS Windows (95/98/NT/2000/XP) MS-DOS
