NTN Buzztime, Inc. Our Carlsbad headquarters is seeking a self-directed Senior Graphic Artist, who thrives in a growing, collaborative professional environment. This position is a project leading position within the Art Department. They will work closely with the Art Director, and are influential in the over-all decision-making and direction of the look and design of the company and its products. The Senior Graphic Artist will design compelling, professional, broadcast-level interactive game graphics and animations for the Buzztime Network as well as game design and support for internet, cable/sat and mobile platforms. They will work with minimal supervision to execute graphic design and production in multiple disciplines including broadcast design, 3D modeling and animation. This position works closely with Product Managers and the Art Director to create professional and exciting games and entertainment, while being responsible for designing the graphic elements. Additionally, this position will establish processes and procedures that ensure high quality, cost effective and on-time creative. They will support sales and marketing initiatives. The Senior Graphic Artist will also utilize and mentor junior level artists/interns/freelance artist as needed. Education/Training and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a 4 year Art Degree (BFA), or any comparable combination of training, education, and experience. Must have 5-7 years of Graphic Artist experience with demonstrated professional experience in a portfolio or demo reel utilizing the following software: Adobe CS2 Suite Adobe After Effects 7.0 Adobe Flash 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D or Maya The ideal candidate will also have some experience with interactive television, gaming and the internet from an aesthetic perspective We are looking for candidates who have basic understanding of video editing (Windows & MAC OS) and Image optimization (create strong designs under tight color and file size restrictions). They should be versed in Microsoft Office Suite, and have a sound understanding of game design, layout, GUI design, and presentation principles. Candidates should have strong management, organizational, project management skills, and be strong communicators. We are looking for creative applicants who can multi-task and work well with others.
