This FAQ is for those using the old PIN/Handle model only. The new Username/Password model has made point and account transfers obsolete.
Q: How do I change my Username/Password, PIN/Handle or Homesite? A: With the new registration process, you use a Username and Password. You can change this information, or select a favorite homesite, anytime by going to Edit My Info. Usernames are unique, so you may change your username as long as your new one is available. Be aware that if you change it, someone else is able to select your old username. Those who remain with the old PIN/Handle model will need to either add a Username to their account by going to www.buzztime.com/register or will need to contact us to make your changes. Transfer rules may be found on our PlayersPlus Rules page. Please wait 3 - 4 business days after creating your new account to contact us.
Q: I created a new account and PIN but still have my old account and PIN. How do I combine the two? A: If you've already created a new account and started using a new PIN, and would like to have the two accounts combined, please contact us and select “PlayersPlus” from the “Category” drop down menu. Transfer rules may be found on our PlayersPlus Rules page. Please wait 3 to 4 business days after creating your new account to contact us. **Only play using your newly created account while the transfer is being processed.
Q: I recently remembered the PIN from an old account. Can I transfer the points to my current account? A: The PlayersPlus program is Buzztime's Frequent Player program. Once an account becomes inactive for more then one year it is subject to deletion. The PlayersPlus accounts must be kept active to remain in the database. If your old account has not yet been deleted you may contact us to see if we can combine the two accounts.
Q: Is against the rules to have more than one PlayersPlus account? A: You are only eligible to win prizes with one account. There is no benefit to having multiple accounts. By using your full 7-digit PIN (i.e. 1234ABC) you can log in at any location throughout the Buzztime Network so it is unnecessary to have more than one account. Duplicate accounts may be deleted without notice to the member. If you currently have more than one account and would like to consolidate your points into one account please contact us and select “PlayersPlus” from the “Category” drop down menu. **We can only consolidate accounts when a new one has been created to replace an old one. We cannot combine accounts where the new account has more than 100,000 points.
Q: How can I change my address, email address or other PlayersPlus account information? A: To change your personal information for your PlayersPlus account, simply log on to your account and go to the User CP in the forums. From there you can click on the Edit Profile or Edit Email & Password links. Change the appropriate fields and then click on the "submit" button.
Q: When I transfer my account, will my completed Player Reward cards and games move with it? A: Yes, when an account is transferred, everything associated with that account is transferred with it. If you are transferring to an account with a Username attached, it is possible that your stats and achievements from your old account may be lost.
