Buzztime is pleased to announce that we’ve achieved a 41-year-long goal. With our new feature we call “Buzztime Bar Hero” your venue can connect Buzztime directly to their Point of Sales system!
Make your customer a Hero, just by playing Buzztime Trivia, Fantasy Sports or Poker. We’ve all seen Trivia, Poker and Fantasy Sports being played in bars before, but this is the first time inhistory that bars can connect their gameplay right to their Point of Sales system.
Here is how it works:
With Buzztime Bar Hero, after a player wins a Buzztime tournament, he spins a roulette wheel of discounts for the whole bar for one round. The Hero will spin a roulette wheel full of coupons for different food and beverage items in your venue.
Whatever the wheel lands on, the whole bar earns a discount for the next round. Everyone in your bar will cheer and your Buzztime player becomes a Buzztime Bar Hero because he’s saved the whole bar some money!
Buzztime Bar Hero is currently only offered in tandem with the Toast point of sale, POS, system with the goal to roll out to multiple POS providers.

3. How do players earn bar discounts?
Discounts are earned by players who win a round of trivia. The player will then spin a wheel on their game device to earn a discount for the bar that only lasts 10 minutes!
4. Is Bar Hero available in the Buzztime Trivia app?
Yes. The Bar Hero experience has been engineered to work within the Buzztime Trivia app and does not require any other software or app for the player to download.
5. Is Bar Hero available on Buzztime Tablets?
